White Christmas Outfit Ideas

Read Article →

Hey guys! So Christmas is just around the corner and if you are like me who worries about what to wear to events or parties, I hope this post can give you an inspiration on what to wear on this lovely festive holiday.

The weather has been a little bit chilly these days but it does get sunny during the afternoons. So depending on your country's climate, feel free to pair warm thermal leggings underneath skirts for freezing countries or ditch the jumper for a similar colour chiffon blouse if you live in a tropical country.

Outfit #1 - A Christmas date

Jumper: H&M / Skirt: Esprit / Necklace: Topshop / Shoes: H&M

I love the colour of this cable knit jumper! It is a nice cool tone cherry red colour, very playful and cheeky, the camera does not do it any justice (it always messes up the tones). I added a statement chunky necklace to glam up the whole look and I think it looks amazing with this jumper. The skirt I used here is a beige skater skirt that has subtle gold thread and it complements the gold in the necklace really well.

Outfit #2 - Party night

Jumper: Korea / Shorts: ASOS / Necklace: Topshop / Shoes: H&M

This is something that I would totally wear on a every day basis if I live in a cooler country. I got this white furry jumper from Korea last year during the winter season. It looks amazing paired with the lace high waisted shorts from ASOS. I also tried to jazz it up by adding a really cute monochrome tone necklace from Topshop. I love it!

Top: BugisVillage / Necklace: Topshop / Pants: Stylemint / Shoes: Charles&Keith

Hey guys! A short one today. This was a school outfit I wore previously, I thought it was pretty cute. The black/white houndstooth patterned top has a very chic, classic look to it, so I matched a comfortable, slouchy 'lounge pants'. Some days we just want to throw whatever's comfortable on and still look put together. And outfits like that are easy to match and great to pull off the relaxed style that is so trendy these days. Pants are from Stylemint, they are the Tribeca in Heather grey and the top is a shop from Bugis Street. Necklace is from Topshop also featured in my Topshop accessories haul here.

Outfit | Cows & Horses

Hey guys! Just a quick outfit post today, the weather has been so unpredictable lately, it is like I'm living in the sunny Sahara desert during the day and suddenly it dips right into cold and wet Antarctica temperature in my midst of sleeping.  So for fluctuating weathers like ours, I like to dress light and always remember to carry an umbrella!

Dress: Lowry's Farm (worn as blouse) / Shorts: Zara / Bag: m)phosis (past season) / Shoes: Sole Society / Accessories: Lovisa / Watch: Casio

I love monochrome black/white pairings because they are so chic yet it takes so little time to pair an outfit together. Every thing just goes well with each other. I also really like my herd of horses necklace from Lovisa, very cute and unique. Definitely my go-to necklace for lazy i-can't-be-bothered days. Also the tiny star studs are absolutely adorable and adds a subtle detail to my look.

The top and necklace will be featured in my September haul post which will be up very soon!

That's all guys! I am SO close to a hundred subscribers so please follow my blog if you like what you are reading, I will have a giveaway planned out really soon. I will see you in my next post, cheers!

Outfit | Azure Peach

Hi guys! This was the outfit I wore to a pastel themed party. I know the outfit isn't really all that pastel, but I had to work with what I have. I put together this outfit using 2 complementary colours, blue and yellow. I got this denim jacket from Esprit few months ago, it has very cute floral detailing on the sleeves and the back of the jacket. I love the structure of it and how versatile it is.

The yellow clutch is from Lowry's Farm, a Japanese brand apparel store. It looks like a mustard colour in pictures but it is slightly more pale in person. The clutch comes with wrist straps and shoulder straps so if my hands are busy, I can always carry it on my shoulder. It was reduced from S$72.90 to S$34.90.

Jacket: Esprit / Dress:  Brandless / Bag: Lowry's farm / Shoes: Sole Society / Necklace: Lovisa

The necklace I wore was from Lovisa, also featured in my previous post (click for more close-ups), it is a necklace made from glass beads in a beautiful pastel blue shade. I thought the blue in the necklace went so well with my denim jacket. Shoes are from Sole Society, they are a pair of summery genuine leather strap sandals.

I got this dress a few years ago from a clearance rack at a boutique in Bugis for S$10. I mean the quality isn't all that great, the zipper is very problematic but I love the length of this dress. And the chiffon fabric is SO soft. So a great tip for shopping on a tight budget, always search the clearance racks for unexpected surprises.

That's all guys! Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I am trying to get back on posting more regularly, I actually do miss blogging very much, just that I haven't found much content to post up yet. Anyways hope you enjoyed this post and I'll see you in my next one!

A day at the beach | Outfit + What's in my makeup bag (Summer edition)

Read Article →
This picture is taken by yours truly using the Panorama effect. Click on the picture to see the full size! Pretty sweet right?

Top: H&M /  Bottoms: Zara / Sunglasses: Charles & Keith

I went to a beach outing a few days ago. I always like to wear something over my bikini that is see-through so it gives a little sexiness yet not too revealing. Plus a lace top like the one I wore is very breezy which is great for a hot summer weather. I wore a navy bikini which matches the navy stripes on my bottoms.

I brought some makeup with me to the beach for touch ups. If you guys are a long time reader, you would know that I don't like to powder my face during the day. Plus my complexion has been going crazy lately so I especially do not want to pile powder over my face. But since we're at the beach, there will be sweating so to prevent myself  from turning into a sweaty girl with makeup melting off her face, I bring only the essentials to avoid any awkward situations.

6 items I brought with me are:

1. MAC mineralized skin finish in Medium (Click here for review). This makes the skin look amazing! The fine powder smooths out all the imperfections and makes the skin look flawless. The only downside is that it cannot control oil so top it off with blotting powder or translucent powder over areas where it gets oily.

2. Revlon translucent powder in 02. I LOVE this translucent powder. I'm almost all finished with this one and will definitely repurchase again. It does not make the face look cakey and similarly smooths out all flaws on the face. The result is a natural and matte skin.

3. Ecotools kabuki brush. The size makes it perfect to throw in a small makeup bag. I wish the brush was a bit denser so it gets more product in one go instead of going back to apply several times.

4. A pair of scissors for emergency situations for example tags on clothing, knotted laces etc.

5. LA Girl lipstick in Secret Admirer. One of my go-to lipsticks for all occasions. I like to wear brighter pinks in the summer.

6. Majolica Majorca liquid eyeliner in Black (Click here for review). This is already my second tube. It contains way more product than it looks, my first one lasted me for a year with almost daily usage! It does require some practice since the tip is very soft.

7. Urban Decay 24/7hr concealer in FBI (Click here for review). Best.Concealer.Ever! It is so easy to use, I just dab it on any blemish directly and blend it with my finger. Super easy to blend, very thick and pigmented. I bought it from ACW but they don't carry it anymore and I can't seem to find it in Sephora UD section. If you guys can find it online, I highly recommend you to try it!

That's all guys! Let me know you like to do on the beach or what is your must bring item in your summer makeup bag. I hope you guys enjoyed this post and I'll see you in the next. Cheers!

#Coordinate 2
Top: H&M / Bottom: Zara / Shoes: Dr. Martens / Necklace: Nastygal, Lovisa / Bracelet: Pandora

Hey guys! A quick one today, I did a total spring cleaning of my room and you guys have no idea how much I hate cleaning. My room is always in a state of total mess, so it took me an entire day to sort out things.

Okay onto the outfit, I got 2 outfit inspiration using the same top. I wore the first one to my Grandpa's birthday party a few days ago. I really love the tank top which is from H&M. I  featured it in my May fashion haul so click here if you haven't read it! The material is so soft and I especially like the zip through zipper detailing at the back of the blouse.

For accessories, I match the outfit with a spike necklace from NastyGal plus a thinner skull necklace from Lovisa. I kept the arm candies simple with my silver Pandora bracelet. I find that it matches my aztec Zara skirt I got recently. I really like black on white contrast plus a pair of cherry red boots from Dr. Martens.

I hope you guys enjoyed this short outfit post and I'll see you guys in my next one! Cheers!

Outfit | Neon with long denim skirt

Top: H&M / Bottom: River Island / Shoes: Dr. Martens / Watch: Casio / Bracelet: Pandora, Lovisa

A short outfit post today since I haven't done a new one in a while. I love the new River Island dark denim long skirt that I scored during a recent RI sale. The denim skirt emphasizes body curves and makes my bottom half much fuller than it really is. I also love the mid-knee length although it is slightly difficult to match a top without making the outfit look tacky. Matched it with a boxy neon coral lace top from H&M to give the outfit some colour.

And lo and behold the awesome black patent Dr Martens which makes any outfit look fashionable. I love oxford shoes and the patent material makes it that much more awesome. Not forgetting some gold accessories from Lovisa.

Sorry for the short post, I should be posting my May haul either tomorrow or 2 days later, I also have a beauty haul ready but I'm still waiting for 1 more item to arrive before I do a collective one.And my 80 followers giveaway! I'm excited for that as well so I'll see you guys very soon, stay tuned!

It's my grandfather's birthday tomorrow! Happy birthday gramps! And if you are still in school, have an amazing June holiday!

Just a quick outfit summary over the month of April. I am still down with flu and coming up with a bad sore throat, being sick really sucks! Whenever I cough, the people surrounding literally flee.

Outfit 1, outfit 2, outfit 3, outfit 4.

I've been really into the monochrome theme lately so below are 2 pairs of ZARA sandals that I have really been thinking of getting. I am geared towards the black & white one but the yellow one is great as a pop of colour whenever I am wearing dull shade. Let me know in the comments below which colour to pick!  I'll see you guys soon! Sorry for the short post! Cheers!

Cardigan: Cotton On / Bottom: Zara / Bag:Levi's / Top: Mango / Shoes: Payless

I took this photo probably 2 months ago and I totally forgot to post it up *silly me. I wore this outfit recently to a beach day-cation at Sentosa. This outfit has a beach/nautical feel to it, probably because of the navy horizontal stripes on the shorts and a cardigan when it gets cold at night.  And for all outings, a camera is a necessity especially with the Fujifilm Polariod Camera Instax 7s I got recently. The snacks are actually pistachios which is my all time favourite titbits whenever my mouth itches.

I'll be back hopefully tomorrow with my April fashion haul so please stay tune for that! Join my SKII Facial Treatment Essence giveaway if you haven't already! See you guys in my next post! Cheers :)

Outfit | Getting ready for a zombie apocalyspe

Jacket: FOX / Bottom: FOX Jeans / Bag: Vintage

Hey guys! I've been really uninspired to do beauty related posts these days since I haven't been buying/trying a lot of beauty products. But as for now, please bear with my fashion posts.

I watched Warm Bodies over the past weekend and can I say that I am ready for a zombie apocalypse if zombies looked like 'R' (the main character)? I loved the movie and the entire cast, extremely well made and put together. There is romance, action and drama all at once so I highly encourage anyone who hasn't watched it to catch it on big screen now.

Okay so on to today's outfit, which is inspired from the movie. In the movie R always wears a red hoodie so I paired my red hoodie from FOX with some boyfriend jeans from FOX as well, and added a ripped top. I threw in some dirty old sneakers to complete the 'zombie apocalypse' vibe. I hope you guys liked it and I'll see you guys in my next post! Cheers!

Coordinate #2

Bottom: Forever 21 / Shoes: Dr Martens / Purse: River Island

My kind of everyday school outfit. The weather has been terrible here in Singapore, scorching one moment and storm in the next. Everyone needs a pair of these Dr. Martens Adrian Tassle Loafers, they are very stylish but a tad too heavy. And another essential for school days would be my iPod Nano 6th gen, I listen to it during long bus rides and I need a shot of Coldplay everyday to keep me sane. Sorry for the short posts,  I'll see you guys in my next one, cheers!

Coordinate #1

Blouse: Cotton On / Bottom: Forever 21 / Shoes: Payless

I am really inspired recently to do more fashion related posts. I blame it on my daily obsession with fashion blogs which I tend to be easily influenced by current styles they sport. And behold, my take on the monochrome fashion. Monochrome styles are very chic and sophisticated, and also, a huge challenge for me. I'm playing with greys in the above outfit. Greys aren't my best friends in humid weathers but a staple colour in everyone's wardrobe. See you guys in my next post!
