Pastel Blue And Galloping Horses

Read Article →

Hi guys! How is your week? For me, it has been a crazy seven days, both positively and negatively, mainly being at parties, wedding dinners, major problems with school work and including comforting friends after break ups. I went to Lovisa before a birthday party and saw some pretty pieces that were on sale. Of course I couldn't pass them up and got them immediately.

I got 2 necklaces from Lovisa, one is a gorgeous pastel blue bib necklace and a fun, wacky horse herd necklace. The pale blue necklace is made from glass beads and they look slightly lilac in real life. I like wearing it over just a simple white t-shirt or over a maxi dress to glam up any outfit. The glass beads in the middle row have a darker hue to them to give the necklace a more textured and 3-dimensional look. Original price was S$50, on sale for S$15.

I also bought a horse herd necklace with gold galloping horse pendants on them. I think it is a very quirky and cute necklace design and I think it will be a conversational piece if you want to make a plain, dull outfit look interesting. I think it will be great for school and outdoor activities where you want your outfit to be casual yet out of the ordinary. Reduced from S$26 to S$9.

These items should still be available in stores so check them out if you are interested. Let me know which piece you like, or if you have any favourite jewelry items from Lovisa.

Love,
Hannah

February/March Haul | Lovisa, Newlook

Read Article →

Hey guys! I didn't do a monthly haul last month since I only bought 2 pieces of jewelry so this month's haul will be a collective haul over the past 2 months which is just more pieces of jewelries *Yikes!

February was one of those months where I have absolutely no inspiration for clothing and I just did not fell in love with any clothes I saw during shopping trips. What a bummer! Resulting in me now experiencing a slight shopping withdrawal disease, symptoms which includes refreshing ASOS and River Island every friggin' hour and still not seeing anything I like.

 1. Cross Necklace from Nasty Gal. I love that the necklace is in a very crisp white silver so it sparkles slightly under the sunlight. The details on the chain are to die for. A must buy for me!

2. Spike Studded Necklace from Nasty Gal. I adjusted the length of the necklace and did a post on shortening jewelry chain. This is the perfect length for me in my opinion, maybe a little shorter will do and I love to pair this with outfits to give it a strong/masculine look.

 3. Gold Geometric necklace from Lovisa. I featured this in my previous post. It was on sale for $9 from the original $20. I love that this is a dainty yet complex piece that I dare to pair it with many everyday outfits because I tend to stray away from heavy statement pieces.

 4. Long necklace with Gold Tassels also from Lovisa. On sale for $9, originally $22. I think this piece would be great with a long knitted cardigan or a maxi dress. I have always been a fan of long necklaces and this is a great addition to my collection. Both pieces should still be available in stores.

5. Arrow Rhine-stoned necklace from Accessorize. I got this necklace for $5 when Accessorize was having a 70% clearance sale. I thought that this necklace was very House Of Harlow 1960 inspired when they came out with arrow jewelry and I do like it a lot!

  6. Loafers/ Flats from Newlook via Singsale. I got this for $14 when Singsale had a Newlook event which is already over boo! I remembered seeing the exact same pair of shoes in stores for $60 full retail price and I really liked it then. I have a few pairs of shoes that are already pass their wearable life so this shall replace my most worn shoes.

I hope you guys enjoyed this small haul and I will see you again soon in my next post! If you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to leave them in the comments below or email me at ar_enquiry@hotmail.com, they will be replied as soon as possible. Thank you guys for reading!

Love,
Hannah

Snips and Bits #5 - Lovisa Jewellery

Read Article →

I got 2 Lovisa jewelry during a shopping trip 2 days ago. They are having a Easter sale so if you're interested in any of the 2 pieces, I think they may still be available. I thought I would give you guys a little look first because I am so stoked that I got this 2 pieces, I absolutely adore them to bits. I will upload photos of these pieces on myself and should be up in my coming March haul.

Both necklaces match almost everything in my wardrobe and was on sale for $9 each which I though was a pretty good deal (original price was $20+). Fortunately, no unpleasant incidents occurred. I'll see you guys in my next post! Cheers!

January Fashion Haul | H&M, Lovisa, People's Park

Read Article →

Hey guys! Today’s post will be on my monthly haul! This month I got more accessories than clothing. Frankly speaking, I’m really loving this month’s purchases. I might be doing some pairings/ootds with this month’s purchases so do stay tune for that!

[Warning!] Extremely picture heavy!

I will not do so much explaining for accessories so please enjoy the photos!

Lovisa accessories
If you have read my recent rant on Lovisa, you probably had a little sneak peak of the products I’m going to show you.

 .

.

.

Gold Hair ties [Lovisa – S$5]

Regular black hair ties with gold details.

 .

.

.

Gold cross bendy bangle[Lovisa – S$5]

I kind of regretted buying this because the gold paint flaked off and painted the flakes with nail polish a small tip to prevent more flaking. I do like the look of it but it makes ‘clanking’ noises when it hits my watch.

.

.

Silver skull necklace [Lovisa – S$9]

I LOVE this piece. I bought it on a wimp and I got SO many compliments whenever I wear it out. I think you can find similar pieces online and I really like the look of it.

.

Silver long arrow necklace [Lovisa – S$9]

I really like this piece too. I haven’t worn it out yet but I will probably wear it this coming Monday with like a high messy bun.

That's all for Lovisa items!

Dainty Accessories

It has been my dream to open my own jewelry store selling affordable dainty necklaces for a long time now because there is absolutely no webstore that caters to delicate, dainty. I have found some suitable suppliers and below are some of the products that I may bring in. I have not done the website yet but I am definitely looking forward to it. Do let me know what you guys think of them!

Gold chain bracelet with light green glass pearl

.

.

.

Silver chain gold skull necklace

Super ADORABLE! I got tons of compliments when wearing this necklace too. It is so dainty and cute!

.

.

.

Silver chain gold leaf necklace

Suitable for all occasions and very good for stacking accessories!

.

.

.

Silver chain silver star necklace

Also very adorable! These pendants are so mini and are absolutely a must buy.

.

.

.

Burgundy tweed skirt [H&M- S$20]

Tweed has been a big trend this season and in my opinion kind of a timeless fabric so I got myself a tweed skirt that I have been searching all over for. It was on sale for S$20 and I thought that was a great deal! This skirt is a size 38 and was literally the last one in the store. It does fit me, luckily, I could do a size smaller but this size was fine since I get bloated so easily I tend to size up for bottoms.

.

.

Grey stretchy chiffon shirt [People’s Park Complex – S$12]

I apologise for the crumples on these clothes!

I got this when I was shopping with my mum at People’s Park Complex at Chinatown. I love the colour of this shirt, it is like a lilac-y, purplish grey. It fits quite small so maybe I will pair this with something a little high waist-ed so my tummy would not flop out like a sore thumb. The label states Love Moschino, but I figured it’s prolly fake since Love Moschino tops are like S$80.

.

.

Basic V-neck tee shirt in Cream [People’s Park Complex – S$7]

Just a plain v-neck cotton tee shirt. I love the cutting and I got it for freaking S$7. I mean how cheaper can a nice top be? I am definitely going back for more. I feel that V-necks match short dainty necklaces very well.

.

.

.

Vintage Nagisa Chiffon Shirt [Bugis Street- S$18]

Notice that both buttons are slightly different on the pockets. I'm a sucker for details like such!

I LOVE the details of this shirt. It is huge on me but I think I will match this with the shirt buttoned up with leggings and a top bun or unbuttoned with some shorts and my trusty Dr Martens. Notice the shimmery details on the shirt! The labels are in Japanese so I suppose it is a Japanese product?

.

.

.

Lastly, I got some studs for a DIY project, which will be coming up real soon.
