Hey guys! What y’all doing! Today I’m going to do a review on Majolica Majorca Mascara in black BK999. I can’t say that this is my Holy Grail mascara because I am not a huge fan of using mascaras, but this particular mascara is up till now the best mascara I have used. 

I have used Clinique and Lancome mascaras but they didn’t really hold up my curls well. Their formulas are really wet and my eyelashes droops down immediately I swipe those products on. I have a short Asian lashes that are pin straight and pretty unflattering. I personally do not encourage using mascara daily as tugging, clamping and rubbing your eyelashes can make your eyelashes fall off prematurely. I use them around 3-5 days at most and depending on where I am going.

Pros:

Many reviewers said that this Majolica Majorca mascara is like a hairspray for your eyelashes and I pretty much agree. Though its formula is pretty wet, once I swipe the product on my eyelashes, it stays there the whole day. It retains curls really well and has tiny fiber lashes similar to Fiberwig mascara for additional length.

This product adds length and my lashes appear thicker but the volumizing effect is minimal. It define each lashes clearly (I give credit to the unique mascara wand it has) and does not clump easily. I put on 2 coats at most for longer and more define lashes. I didn’t find the mascara to smudge onto my under eyes.

Cons:

This formula will make your eyelashes really crispy and shiny so if you do not like crispy ‘hair-spray’ like eyelashes I will not recommend. This mascara is not for volumizing so do take note too.

This mascara has great lengthening power but is a bitch to remove. MajorlicaMarjorca Eye Reset Gel and Mandom Express Makeup remover are not able to remove this mascara 100%. There are clumps and flakes of mascara that gets trapped between the lashes which I use warm water to get them all out. Biore makeup remover wipes are able to fully remove this mascara but it takes a bit of time. And again the tugging of eyelashes will make them fall out faster. 

This mascara is pretty pricey, I can’t remember how much it is but it is around SGD$20. You can get it at around $17 if there is a 20% discount.

Yadda Yadda:

I bought the mascara for SGD$17.90 at Watsons. They are available at all Majolica Majorca counters. Net weight 6g. Will I repurchase? Yes! And I highly recommend everyone to try it out.
